Forum on current situation and solutions for digital technology application

Attending the Forum were representatives of the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment; Cooperative Unions of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen provinces and departments, branches and cooperatives in Bac Kan province.

In recent years, the application of digital technology in cooperatives in Bac Kan province has brought many practical benefits, contributing to improving production efficiency, business and sustainable development, such as: Increasing productivity and product quality, the application of high technology such as greenhouse systems and smart devices has helped cooperatives improve productivity and product quality. At the same time, saving production costs through the use of smart devices. Expanding the market, through the use of e-commerce platforms and social networks, cooperatives can reach a wider market. The application of digital technology allows cooperatives to provide detailed information about the production process, thereby improving transparency and creating trust for consumers.

Leaders of the Institute of Science and Environment proposed solutions to promote technology application, innovation, digital transformation in production and business and promote trade and consumption of products of cooperatives at the Forum.

Bac Kan province currently has 461 cooperatives, with a total of 4,606 members. Up to now, there have appeared a number of dynamic cooperative models, pioneering in applying IT, digital transformation and e-commerce to increase product value, access new markets with positive results. Typical examples are Thanh Nien Nhu Co Cooperative, Minh Anh Cooperative, BK FOOD high-tech agricultural cooperative, Tai Hoan Cooperative, Yen Duong Cooperative, etc.

Cooperatives display and promote products outside the Forum.

At the Forum, departments, branches and cooperatives proposed practical solutions such as: Solutions to promote technology application, innovation, digital transformation in production, business activities and trade promotion of product consumption of cooperatives; Current status of information technology application, digital transformation, e-commerce platforms of cooperatives; Application of digital technology in agriculture; Transformation - increasing internal strength for cooperatives; Cooperatives need to apply information technology, digital transformation in production and product consumption activities; Digital transformation in agriculture is the "key" to managing production and product consumption...

Speaking at the Forum, Mr. Tran Van Cuong, Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union emphasized: “To promote the digital transformation process in the collective economic sector, cooperatives need to develop and issue programs and projects to support financial and preferential credit specifically for cooperatives; Organize training programs on digital knowledge and skills for cooperative managers and members; Build and use shared digital platforms for cooperatives such as agricultural product trading floors, supply chain management systems, to improve production and business efficiency and competitiveness in the market”./.
