With the role of “leading the way”, the transport sector proactively advised the Provincial People’s Committee to mobilize investment resources to build and develop a synchronous, sustainable and modern transport infrastructure network according to the approved plan. From there, the connection between Vinh Phuc urban area and key economic zones in the region was gradually completed, creating a premise for attracting investment and developing industry.

Over the past time, the province's transport infrastructure system has been increasingly improved, clearly demonstrating its role as the "blood vessel" of the economy, a strategic breakthrough, contributing to improving people's lives, and developing the province's socio-economic development. Up to now, many important transport routes have been formed, upgraded and expanded with all three types of roads, railways and inland waterways.
In addition to capital from the State budget, the transport sector has promoted the mobilization and diversification of contributions from the people and economic sectors, mobilized capital from international organizations, encouraged investment in the form of BOT, BT, BTO, PPP... to invest in building the province's transport infrastructure to become increasingly synchronous and complete.
This is clearly demonstrated when National Highway 2A section Noi Bai - Vinh Yen was invested in the form of BOT, after many years of exploitation, it has contributed significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.
In the period of 2019 - 2023, the Provincial People's Committee approved investment in 38 transport projects managed by the provincial level, with a total investment of over 13,180 billion VND.
Among them, many large, key projects have important significance for the socio-economic development of the province such as traffic infrastructure connecting the Capital region in the province (Ring Road 5 - Capital region and the section along the foot of Tam Dao mountain connecting Ring Road 5 with National Highway 2B to Tay Thien, going to National Highway 2C and Tuyen Quang); Vinh Phu bridge over Lo river connecting Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho provinces; different-level intersection between Kim Ngoc road and Hanoi - Lao Cai railway, Vinh Yen city; railway overpass on Nguyen Tat Thanh road, Vinh Yen city; IC2 and IC5 intersections of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway through the province; Ring Road 4 according to the transport development plan, the section from National Highway 2 (Vinh Tuong) to DT.305...
A number of large traffic projects and works have been invested in, constructed and put into operation, effectively attracting investment, developing industry and tourism services, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
The Railway Overpass Project on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Vinh Yen City is one of the key projects invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, which started construction in December 2022.
After more than 1 year of construction, the contractor has completed the bored pile foundation, pedestal, abutment body, bridge piers, 5/6 concrete girder spans; completed the installation of 100% of the cable-stayed towers and is constructing the structure of the two side approach spans.
