Cho Gao District received 364 units of donated blood

(ABO) On April 16, the District Red Cross Society, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Cho Gao District, Tien Giang Province, in coordination with Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, organized the 2nd Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025 with the message "Donate blood - Give life".

At this Voluntary Blood Donation Festival, more than 300 people including volunteers, officials, civil servants, armed forces, union members, youth, teachers and people in Cho Gao district participated in donating blood. At the blood donation event, blood donors were screened, had their blood tested, had their blood pressure measured and had their health checked before donating blood.

Through 2 receiving points in Thanh Binh commune and Cho Gao district's Mass Mobilization Block, 364 units of blood were donated. This is a sharing with patients who need blood for treatment; at the same time, contributing to the blood supply for emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities.

It is known that previously on January 7, the Cho Gao District Red Cross Association coordinated with Can Tho Blood Transfusion - Hematology Hospital to organize a Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the message "Spring Blood Donation - Multiplying Happiness" and there were 256 units of blood donated by officials, civil servants, employees, Red Cross members and people in the district.
