According to initial information, at around 10:30 a.m. on May 11, after finishing washing clothes, Ms. H'Gan Nie (Jung A hamlet, Ea Ktur commune) did not see her grandson Y.D.K. (born 2023, residing in Puk Prong hamlet, Ea Ning commune), so she went to her sister's house to look for him.
Not seeing her grandchild, Ms. H'Gan continued to move to the Ea Sim Lake area (Ea Ktur commune) to search but still had no results. After that, she returned to call more relatives and some people in the area to help with the search. When returning to Ea Sim Lake for the second time, everyone discovered that the body of Y.D.K. had drifted to the shore, about 70 meters from the house.
Leaders of Ea Ktur Commune People's Committee visited, encouraged and expressed condolences to the victim's family. |
It is known that due to difficult family circumstances, Y.D.K.'s parents often work far away so they send him to live with his grandmother.
Immediately after receiving information about the incident, leaders of the Ea Ktur Commune People's Committee promptly visited, expressed condolences and encouraged the victim's family. The local government also supported 2 million VND for the family to take care of the child's funeral.
