According to the report of Trang Bom District People's Committee, after receiving the documents transferred by the province's interdisciplinary inspection team No. 1, Trang Bom District People's Committee issued a decision to administratively sanction the PD business household ( Thanh Hoa hamlet, Ho Nai 3 commune).
PD business was fined 16.5 million VND for the following violations: the drainage system in the restaurant and kitchen area was stagnant and not covered; the food service business had a food safety certificate but it had expired. Up to now, PD business is taking remedial measures and completing the application for a food safety certificate.
At the commune level, from April 15 to now, the district's commune inspection teams have inspected 156 street food establishments, of which 151 establishments met the requirements. The commune and town police have actively coordinated with the provincial police to inspect and advise the district People's Committee to issue a decision to impose an administrative penalty on QTT LLC. This company was fined 25 million VND for the act of leaking and cracking the floor of the production, business and storage areas.
In addition, the authorities of Trang Bom district have also filed a case against the cattle slaughterhouse in Ngu Phuc hamlet, Ho Nai 3 commune, requiring the facility to stop operations and heat-treat 300kg of beef.
A representative of Market Management Team No. 3 (Trang Bom - Thong Nhat district) said that after checking the district market, no fake milk products or fake cigarette butts have been discovered.
Mr. Do Ngoc Nam, Vice Chairman of Trang Bom District People's Committee, shared that food safety and hygiene in general and in collective kitchens in particular are of great concern to the district leaders. Trang Bom currently has 4 industrial parks with more than 100,000 workers. If food poisoning occurs in the company's collective kitchen, it will be very dangerous.
Therefore, the district has been and will strengthen inspection and supervision of industrial catering establishments; propagate to food business owners to improve their responsibility for food safety. In addition, it will regularly inspect and supervise collective kitchens in schools in the area.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet suggested that Trang Bom district continue to strengthen information and propaganda work on food safety with the right focus, targeting specific subjects to change the knowledge and awareness of food producers, traders, processors and users. At the same time, promote post-inspection work, avoid the situation of issuing certificates, inspecting and fining and then stopping. Inspection work must be accompanied by propaganda and guidance work so that establishments can implement well and in accordance with regulations.
