Cau Ke District Party Committee summarizes the Resolution of the District Party Congress, term 2020-2025

In the 2020 - 2025 term, Cau Ke District Party Committee has implemented the Resolution and achieved many outstanding results. Based on the 06 key tasks and 03 breakthrough tasks of the Provincial Party Committee, the District Party Committee has concretized them into 06 key tasks and 02 breakthrough tasks to deploy and organize the implementation.

Through the assessment, there are 05 key tasks, 02 breakthrough tasks performed well and 01 key task performed quite well. Notably, the completion of 10/10 advanced new rural communes, 03/10 model new rural communes, Cau Ke town meeting civilized urban standards, the district meeting advanced new rural standards 01 year ahead of the Congress Resolution. Achieved and exceeded 17/17 targets of the Congress Resolution; of which, 12/17 targets exceeded and 05 targets met.

During the 2020 - 2025 term, Party committees at all levels have always paid attention to discovering, nurturing, and creating sources for Party members. They have admitted 712 new Party members, reaching 127% of the Resolution. The whole district currently has 4,497 Party members (accounting for 4.2% of the population). Every year, over 85% of Party cells and Party committees are clean and strong; Party members who complete their tasks well reach 85% or more.

Promote the exemplary role of cadres and party members in implementing revolutionary action movements; resolutely fight to prevent and repel signs of degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation". Continue to arrange and perfect the organization and apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient;

The average growth rate of production value in 5 years increased by 13.7%, reaching 101.5% of the Resolution. Total social investment capital was 16,269 billion VND, reaching 112% of the Resolution. Total domestic revenue reached 299 billion VND, an average annual increase of 15.3% (reaching 102% of the Resolution). Average income per capita reached 82 million VND/year, reaching 103% of the Resolution (an increase of 22.65 million VND compared to 2020). Annually, creating new jobs for over 4,300 workers, sending workers to work abroad for a limited period reached over 400% of the Resolution. Well implementing the policy for people with meritorious services, 100% of policy households have a standard of living equal to or higher than the average standard of living of the population; 100% of communes and towns well implementing the policy for war invalids and martyrs.

Regarding the development of agriculture, fisheries, forestry and new rural construction; the average added value of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased by 6.64%, reaching 103.8% compared to the Resolution.

Some service sectors have high growth rates, contributing significantly to the overall growth rate of the district; total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached 9,473 billion VND, reaching 101% compared to the Resolution, an average increase of 18.7% over the past 5 years; many local agricultural products have been available on e-commerce trading floors. Coordinated with provincial departments and branches to successfully organize the 100-year Tra Vinh Wax Coconut Festival associated with the Vu Lan Thang Hoi Week of Cau Ke district in 2024...

The conference listened to leaders of branches and grassroots party committees present their speeches, highlighting the achievements in various fields during the 2020-2025 term and the limitations that need to be overcome in the coming time.

Comrade Lam Minh Dang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, praised the sense of responsibility and achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Cau Ke district in the past term. In the past term, the Cau Ke district Party Committee has always been highly appreciated by the Provincial Party Committee as one of the leading localities in all fields, making positive contributions to the overall development of the province. The Cau Ke district Party Committee was assessed by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to have excellently completed its tasks in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lam Minh Dang directed the district to pay attention to implementing well a number of key tasks: continue to strictly implement the directive documents of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the work of perfecting and rearranging the organizational apparatus, merging administrative units and Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; regularly update all directive documents to proactively organize implementation to ensure quality and time requirements as prescribed.

Prepare well for the commune-level party congress after the merger, ending at the district level according to the plan and roadmap. The political report submitted to the commune-level party congress must be carefully and closely prepared, closely assessing the achieved results, clearly defining the goals, tasks, specific solutions, high feasibility and strategic vision; promoting resources, clearly identifying key and breakthrough tasks to exploit the potentials and strengths of the locality, creating clear changes in socio-economic development, improving people's lives. Focus on reviewing the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees at the commune and district levels before implementing the merger and consolidation of commune-level administrative units, ending at the district level. Appraising dossiers, promptly resolving the best policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees in accordance with regulations.

Focus on developing personnel plans for new commune-level Party committees, advisory and support agencies for Party committees, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, specialized departments and offices under the People's Committees at the commune level, etc. must be strictly implemented in accordance with Instruction No. 06-HD/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee "on developing personnel plans for commune-level Party committees" and Instruction No. 07-HD/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee "on the framework of position standards and orientations for arranging leadership and management positions when arranging the organizational apparatus of wards and communes in Tra Vinh province".

Perform well the work of editing and digitizing documents to ensure timely completion for proper storage according to regulations before the end of district-level activities and the merger of commune-level administrative units.

Focus on leading and directing socio-economic development, especially the implementation of projects and works as quickly as possible, to bring benefits to the people as soon as possible; do not let the merger of administrative units cause the constructions and projects for people's livelihood, promoting development, expanding production and business of people and enterprises to stagnate or delay. Focus on taking care of people's lives, do not let there be a situation of lax leadership and management, disruption in the provision of basic and essential public services to people and enterprises.
