Tien Phuoc District Party Committee summarizes the first quarter of 2025

On the afternoon of April 4, Tien Phuoc District Party Committee held a conference to assess the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the area in the first 3 months of the year, and tasks for the remaining months of 2025.

Since the beginning of the year, Tien Phuoc District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing Party committees and authorities at all levels, together with the people, to increase economic production and stabilize people's lives. The district has prepared documents for 150 households to register to implement Resolution 35 on developing garden economy and farm economy; supporting the remaining 23 households to implement Resolution 35 in 2024 with an amount of over 1.1 billion VND. Up to now, the district has registered 9 new OCOP products and 7 re-recognized products after 3 years of implementing the One Commune One OCOP Product Program.

In the first quarter of 2025, the value of industrial and handicraft production in the area is estimated at 359 billion VND, an increase of 20.47% over the same period in 2024; the value of trade and services is 1,702 billion VND, an increase of 16.18% over the same period in 2024. The total local budget revenue is over 205 billion VND. The total disbursed capital up to March 12, 2025 is 5,576/78.81 billion VND, reaching 7.08% of the plan. For the capital source extending to 2025, 1.5/40,885 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching 4%.

Up to now, Tien Phuoc has 14 communes reaching the new rural area finish line, of which 2 communes Tien Canh and Tien Phong have reached the advanced new rural area finish line, the district has achieved 9/9 criteria for new rural area, and is submitting documents waiting for the Central Government to inspect, evaluate and recognize.

In the fields of culture - society, political security, social order and safety in the area continued to be maintained and had positive changes. The district organized the 17th Huynh Thuc Khang Award ceremony for 70 individuals. Inspected and recognized district-level learning units for 66 agencies and units and "Learning Communities" at the commune level at level 1 for 14 communes and towns. In particular, successfully organized activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Tien Phuoc district (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025); the 3rd Loc Yen Village Festival and the 2nd Ky Yen Festival, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to participate.

Regarding party building work, the whole district considered admitting 11 new party members and prepared documents to send 5 party members to attend the centralized intermediate political theory class.

At the conference, one party organization and four party members who had excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years (2020-2024) were commended by the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; The Standing Committee of Tien Phuoc District also commended 9 grassroots party organizations that had excellently completed their tasks in 2024 and commended 11 party members who had excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years, 2020-2024.

On this occasion, Tien Phuoc District People's Committee also awarded 21 collectives and 18 individuals who made positive contributions to the organization and service of the 50th anniversary of Tien Phuoc District Liberation Day.
