Van Giang district promotes trade and agricultural products associated with tourism

On May 17, the People's Committee of Van Giang district held a conference to promote trade and consumption of agricultural products and promote agricultural products associated with tourism in Van Giang district in 2025.

Currently, Van Giang district has 5 craft villages specializing in producing flowers and ornamental plants; 29 OCOP products have been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee and 5 craft village products have been granted collective trademark protection certificates by the Department of Intellectual Property.

Besides, in the past 3 years, Van Giang has effectively exploited its tourism potential, on average each year, the district welcomes about 2 million visitors to visit and experience tourism services.

Delegates visited the booth displaying and introducing Van Giang's key products.

At the conference, delegates shared and discussed the management, exploitation and development of agricultural products in the district; promoting the competitive advantages of products with community brands; the role of business households in preserving traditional products; purchasing and trading activities of commercial organizations... At the same time, they proposed solutions to enhance brand value, preserve the value of traditional craft villages, increase the value chain of agricultural production and tourism services in the district.

This is one of the first trade promotion activities of the district organized in 2025, including booths displaying and introducing agricultural products, key products of Van Giang district, especially product groups certified with 3-star and 4-star OCOP.

The conference is a forum for exchange, learning and cooperation to connect the supply and demand chain between businesses and cooperatives, aiming to develop garden ecotourism associated with spiritual culture, contributing to promoting agricultural products and creating more income for people.
