Sunflower Hill - Tourist attraction in early summer

Only about 15 km from the center of Hanoi , the sunflower hill at Swan Lake Park, in Ecopark Urban Area (Van Giang District) is entering its most brilliant time of the year, becoming an attractive destination in early summer. In the clear early summer weather, after sudden showers, the Ecopark sunflower hill puts on a shimmering yellow coat, stretching out on high ground next to a poetic lake. Thousands of "sun" flowers compete to show off their colors, their stems taller than a person's head, blooming brilliantly as if welcoming visitors from all over. The space filled with sunlight and flowers makes this place an ideal "check-in" spot, especially for young people, families with young children and those who love nature. Many visitors shared that they were surprised to have such a beautiful scene less than 30 minutes away from Hanoi's center.

“I came here to visit my children and grandchildren. I got to go out and visit many places, especially this sunflower hill. The flowers are very beautiful and the air here feels very fresh and good for your health,” said Trinh Thi Hoa, a tourist from Ha Long city ( Quang Ninh ).

According to the representative of the Ecopark Urban Area Management Board, the entire flower hill is carefully cared for from the stage of selecting varieties, improving the soil to irrigation and drainage. The sunflower variety has the advantage of being tall, large, bright-colored flowers, able to bloom evenly and maintain color fastness in hot and humid weather.

After visiting the flower hill, visitors can stroll along the peaceful 7-storey Koi fish pond, visit the exquisite Japanese park, let children enjoy playing in the sand play area and exercise, or fly kites by Thien Nga Lake in the cool afternoon breeze. In addition, the weekend market in Truc Street with handicraft stalls, regional specialties, street music ... is also a cultural highlight that attracts many visitors.
