Hyundai has released the first official images of the second-generation Venue, showing the entire exterior and interior of the new compact SUV. The price will be announced on November 4 and the Korean brand has also started accepting deposits for the model in the Indian market. As previously predicted, the new generation A-size SUV - Hyundai Venue 2026 has a more impressive appearance with sharp lines and many bold SUV-style details. The front of the car comes with a strip of LED daytime running lights connecting the two sides and a cluster of LED headlights with 4 main bulbs.
The front headlights of the 2026 Hyundai Venue look like inverted horns. The car also has a wide rectangular grille and a silver-painted front bumper with many muscular details. The front bumper has new air vents while the hood is strongly embossed. On the side, the lines on the wheel arches look like a cross between the Hyundai Tucson and Exeter. These lines are more pronounced and stronger than the previous generation. In addition, the new Venue also has plastic cladding around the body, third side windows and black C-pillars decorated with silver details engraved with the word “Venue”. The 16-inch alloy wheels have also been completely redesigned. The rear of the car features a full-width LED strip, both following the prevailing trend and creating a similarity with the front lighting system. The taillights are surrounded by a contrasting black border with the word “Venue” placed in the middle. The rear bumper is designed similarly to the front with a two-tone cover, a part extending up to the trunk door, and two L-shaped reflector strips on both sides. In terms of dimensions, the 2026 Hyundai Venue has a length x width x height of 3,995 x 1,800 x 1,665 mm and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. Compared to the previous generation, the car is 48 mm higher and 30 mm wider while the wheelbase is increased by 20 mm.
Inside the car, the most prominent feature is the curved screen cluster integrating the digital dashboard and the central touch screen, both measuring 12.3 inches, larger than the equipment on the Hyundai Creta. Despite its modern design, the Hyundai Venue 2026 still retains many physical buttons and knobs for the air conditioning system, audio as well as on the steering wheel. In front of the driver is a new steering wheel that does not use the traditional Hyundai logo but instead has four bright dots representing the letter “H” in Morse code, similar to the Ioniq 5 electric car. The dashboard has a two-tone design of dark blue and gray with the center part designed in the shape of the letter “H”, accompanied by vertical air-conditioning vents on both sides. The dashboard surface has a high-class pattern and the word “Venue” is engraved in the middle. Meanwhile, the redesigned center console features buttons for adjusting the ventilation, parking camera, electronic parking brake, driving modes, and new traction control system. The car also has interior lighting around the dashboard and center armrest. Other new features on the A-class SUV include two-way reclining rear seats, rear window sunshades, new two-tone leather upholstery and front parking sensors. Hyundai says rear seat space is more spacious thanks to the increased wheelbase, while entry and exit are easier thanks to wider door openings.
In terms of engine, the new Hyundai Venue 2026 retains the old options. The first is a 1.0L turbocharged gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 120 horsepower. The second is a 1.2L naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 83 horsepower. The third is a 1.5L diesel engine, which produces a maximum output of 100 horsepower. The 1.2L petrol engine will only come with a manual transmission while the 1.0L turbo engine will also have an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Hyundai is also expected to offer a torque converter automatic transmission for the diesel version, which was previously only available with a manual transmission. In addition, Hyundai also introduced the new version division of Venue in the Indian market, including: HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX7, HX8 and HX10. When launched on November 4, 2025, the new generation Hyundai Venue will continue to compete with rivals such as Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
