As part of the launch event of the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P 2025 model in Vietnam, the Chinese automaker also displayed the new large SUV Lynk & Co 900 - the product considered the most high-end in the company's current product range. The new Lynk & Co 900 2025 model is positioned in the full-size SUV segment, using a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain and a 6-seat layout, targeting high-end customers who value comfort and modern technology.
Lynk & Co 900 is the largest SUV the company has ever developed. In terms of overall dimensions, the car has length x width x height of 5,240 x 1,999 x 1,810 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm, equivalent to many luxury SUVs such as the BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS. The front of the Lynk & Co 900 adopts the brand's familiar "The Next Day" design philosophy, featuring two-tiered headlights, slim LED daytime running lights, and a large grille that occupies almost the entire front of the car. The body has long, raised lines, creating a strong and monolithic visual effect. At the rear, the LED taillight strip is designed to extend across the width, connecting with the glowing Lynk & Co logo in the center, both increasing brand recognition and making the overall car more modern and sophisticated. The car has a beautiful set of 2-tone multi-spoke alloy wheels. The interior of the Lynk & Co 900 is designed in a luxurious direction, focusing on the maximum experience of the occupants. The car has 6 independent seats, in which the front seats have a 16-point massage function, and the front passenger seat can rotate 180 degrees to create an interactive space with the rear seats.
The amenities are carefully taken care of with a 9-liter mini fridge, a 30-inch Sky Screen center screen with 6K resolution, operating on the Snapdragon 8295 chip platform - one of the most powerful processors for cars today. In addition, the car also integrates a HUD that displays information on the windshield, a 540° panoramic camera, and a new generation voice control system, helping the driver interact more naturally during operation. The standard luggage compartment capacity of the Lynk & Co 900 in Vietnam is 300 liters, and can be expanded to a maximum of 1,070 liters when the second row of seats is folded, showing high flexibility in use. The Lynk & Co 900 is equipped with a PHEV powertrain that combines a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine and two electric motors, for a total output of 724 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,038 Nm. This power is transmitted through a full-time AWD system, helping the car accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
The car uses a 52.8 kWh lithium battery, providing a pure electric range of 220 km, while in combined mode it can reach 1,350 km. According to the announcement, the average fuel consumption is only 0.65 liters/100 km, and the battery supports DC fast charging, allowing 20-80% charging in just 17 minutes. In terms of safety, the Lynk & Co 900 is equipped with 9 airbags, a high-strength steel frame and a new generation ADAS driver assistance package with features such as automatic emergency braking (AEB), active lane keeping (LKA), adaptive cruise control (ACC) and fully automatic parking assistance. In the home market of China, Lynk & Co 900 will have 4 configurations with prices ranging from 330,000 to 435,000 yuan (1.16 billion to 1.53 billion dong). The car will be launched and officially sold at the end of April 2025. In the Vietnamese market, this model has not announced its official price.
