"The hostility from America and Israel has always existed. They threaten to attack us, which we do not think is likely to happen, but if they commit any act of sabotage, they will definitely receive a strong response," Khamenei affirmed.
He also stressed that if the US seeks to incite domestic unrest, the Iranian people will take matters into their own hands.

The statement came after Trump on March 30 reiterated his demand for Iran to accept the nuclear negotiation offer, and set a two-month deadline for Iran to make a decision.
Last week, Iran sent an official response to the US, in which President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that Iran would not negotiate directly but was ready for indirect dialogue under the direction of Leader Khamenei.
Iran's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Trump's remarks, with spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei writing on social media: "A public threat of 'bombing' by a head of state against Iran is a serious insult to international peace and security. Violence begets violence, peace begets peace. America can choose its path and accept the consequences."
During his first term, Mr. Trump withdrew the United States from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal — an agreement that limited Tehran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief — and then reimposed all sanctions, prompting Iran to ramp up uranium enrichment far beyond the previously set limits.
The West accuses Iran of pursuing a nuclear weapons program by enriching uranium to a level that could be used to build a bomb. However, Iran insists its program is purely for civilian purposes.
