After a disappointing season, coach Ruben Amorim has listed the positions that need to be upgraded to serve the preferred 3-4-3 formation. At the moment, the "Red Devils" are negotiating to recruit Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap. However, the limited budget has forced them to sell players to turn around the finances.

According to British media, Amorim believes that Onana is not a long-term option for the goal. In addition, the two strikers Hojlund and Zirkzee also do not meet professional requirements when their scoring efficiency is too low compared to the transfer fee.

MU is forced to sell Onana for a minimum of £28.32 million to avoid the constraints of the financial fair play regulations (PSR), while the selling price for Hojlund is around £38.4 million and Zirkzee is £29.2 million. MU expects to earn £95 million for the 3 deals.

If there are no big surprises, the 2025 summer transfer window will mark drastic changes at the "Theater of Dreams". Amorim and his associates hope to rebuild the squad from the ground up, with the ambition of bringing MU back to its inherent position on the European football map.

The Old Trafford club are currently 14th in the Premier League with only four games remaining. Therefore, the Europa League is their best chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League. MU will face Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals.
