Plan to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Quang Ngai Province in 2024

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 298/QD-UBND on the Plan to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Quang Ngai province in 2024.

In 2024, Binh Son district is expected to meet new rural standards and Duc Pho town will complete the task of building new rural areas; 06 communes will meet new rural standards, 10 communes will meet advanced new rural standards and 35 villages will meet new rural standards in mountainous communes.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize the implementation of the Plan. Coordinate with the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Quang Ngai Newspaper,... to implement a column on the National Target Program on New Rural Development in the province.

The Department of Planning and Investment shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to review, synthesize the needs, allocate public investment budget capital to implement the Program, advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the annual public investment plan to implement the Program. Guide departments, branches and localities to integrate capital sources from other Project Programs with new rural construction to promote the efficiency of capital use.

Relevant departments and branches effectively integrate programs and projects under their management with the content of new rural construction;

Propose that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the province step up propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize all classes of people and members to understand and raise awareness of the meaning and importance of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction. Promote resources among the people and localities to build the Program and the response and consensus of the people with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people benefit". Direct the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels to effectively implement the 5 contents of the campaign for the whole people to unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall implement the Program in their localities in accordance with the general planning roadmap of the province; Direct communes to review and adjust their commune plans in accordance with the general planning of districts, towns and cities; especially districts with communes meeting new rural and advanced new rural standards by 2024. Increase investment, promote production development, link new rural construction with restructuring of the agricultural sector to increase added value and sustainable development, increase income for rural people;
