The General Secretary emphasized that, looking back over the past 80 years, our nation’s history has been woven from countless sacrifices and hardships, but also brilliant feats and achievements. And in each page of that history, there is a strong imprint of comrades, those who have held the highest leadership positions of the Party through the periods, together with the entire Party, planned the path and led the revolutionary cause. Each comrade has a story, a journey of individual dedication, but all have one thing in common: steadfastness in the ideal of national independence associated with socialism, devotion to the people, and the willingness to sacrifice personal interests for the interests of the Party and the nation.
