At the same time, it creates conditions to strengthen information connections between businesses, employment service units, training and vocationaleducation establishments in recruiting and supporting jobs for local workers.

“This year’s job consultation and introduction day attracted more than 1,000 local workers, union members, youth and students to participate. Businesses attending the event also have a need to recruit more than 12,000 domestic and foreign jobs. In addition, the online trading floor of the An Giang Provincial Employment Service Center also has more than 500 job positions sent by businesses. These are reputable job opportunities, helping local workers connect with reliable addresses, with a stable source of income” - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tinh Bien Town Ly Thuy Van emphasized.

In 2024, the People's Committee of Tinh Bien Town, together with specialized agencies and localities, introduced 6,562 workers to work in and outside the province, reaching 164% of the resolution. In particular, it connected and sent 50 workers to work abroad for a limited period under contracts in Japan, Taiwan, etc., reaching 178.5% of the target, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and developing the local socio -economy.

Attending the festival, Tran Van Benl (a participant in labor export to Japan) shared: “Through the local mobilization, I registered to work in Japan as a trainee, with a term of 3 years. I was selected for the industry to participate in the interview and was lucky to be selected for the factory carpentry job, with a basic salary of 35 million VND/month, not including overtime. Every month, I work from 18 to 22 days, after deducting all expenses, my income is about 25 million VND. During my time in Japan, I studied Japanese to serve my future career. After 3 years of working, I have accumulated more than 400 million VND to send back to my family.”

After returning to Vietnam, Tran Van Benl was recruited by ENIX Human Resources Supply Company Limited and assigned to be in charge of Tinh Bien Town. He affirmed that participating in labor export helped him change himself and find a good job position to build his future.

Improve efficiency

Attending the 2025 Job Consulting and Introduction Day in Tinh Bien Town, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Representative of Angiaco Joint Stock Company - Ico Group Corporation) said: “Over the past 17 years, Ico Group Corporation has recruited and trained more than 20,000 people to study and work in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Germany and Australia. In fact, exporting labor will help quickly solve the employment problem for young people and workers with a stable economic source”.

Ms. Phuong Thao also stated that exporting labor to developed countries will help improve human resources and create an industrial style for workers. Therefore, if young people want to improve their skills, gain more work experience and accumulate finances, exporting labor is the right direction. However, workers need to go through reputable consulting and recruitment agencies that have been assessed by departments, branches and localities to avoid unwanted problems.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Hoang Minh Thu stated: “The job consultation and introduction festival in Tinh Bien Town is an important event, helping to strengthen information connection, creating links between recruiting enterprises and workers in the border area. Thereby, opening up job opportunities for people, improving the effectiveness of supporting job creation and vocational training in the locality. The labor market in the first months of 2025 was very vibrant, creating many job opportunities. In particular, the provincial leaders are very interested in the field of labor, employment and improving the quality of human resources, considering this one of the important tasks contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality”.

Ms. Nguyen Hoang Minh Thu suggested that the leaders of Tinh Bien Town continue to pay attention to implementing practical solutions to develop an effective and sustainable labor market. Promote career guidance, connect labor supply and demand, create a favorable environment to contribute to socio-economic development in the province. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to sending workers to work abroad under contracts, in order to improve the quality of human resources.

“We also hope that consulting and labor recruitment businesses will continue to accompany localities in providing information and supporting workers to have stable jobs. Workers need to have new thinking, proactively identify and choose suitable careers for themselves to build a better future,” emphasized Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Hoang Minh Thu.
