Capacity building for youth in collective economic development

BBK - From May 22 to 24, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized a training conference to foster and improve the capacity of youth union members, members and workers of collective economic organizations in 2025 in Bach Thong district and Bac Kan city.

Attending the training were representatives of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Rural Youth Committee; leaders of the Bac Kan Provincial Youth Union, along with 100 youth union members and workers participating in activities at cooperatives, cooperative groups, youth enterprises and collective economic models in the province.

During the 3 days, the trainees were imparted some knowledge by experts such as: Introduction to the Law and instructions on converting cooperatives according to the Law on Cooperatives 2023; instructions on implementing policies to support agricultural cooperatives according to the Law on Cooperatives 2023; skills in building chain linkage projects in agriculture; building codes for growing areas, farming areas and tracing the origin of agricultural products; applying AI in cooperative management; skills in building business plans in cooperatives; skills in exploiting the software "Farmer Network" built by the Center for Digital Transformation and Agricultural Statistics; financial management and accounting work in agricultural cooperatives...

At the conference, lecturers and students openly discussed issues such as the importance of establishing cooperatives, the State's support policies for cooperatives... Through that, students grasped the Party and State's policies and guidelines on economic development; improved capacity and skills in management, orientation and organization of production and business in collective economic development... At the same time, this was also an opportunity for students to exchange, learn and share experiences in management and good practices from collective economic development models.

Through the conference, the Central Youth Union hopes to continue to arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship and career establishment among young people, while promoting the strong development of the collective economy, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals of the locality and the country.../.
