Results of the implementation of the Project of 1 million social housing apartments

In the past two years, the country has had 117 social housing projects completed or partially completed with a scale of 85,275 units; 159 projects started construction with a scale of 135,563 units.

On June 2, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference to implement Resolution 201/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific policies and mechanisms for social housing development and reviewing and assessing the social housing development situation in the first 5 months of the year, and the implementation plan for the last months of 2025.

According to the report of the Ministry of Construction , in the past 2 years, nationwide, there have been 117 completed or partially completed projects with a scale of 85,275 apartments; 159 projects started construction with a scale of 135,563 apartments, 419 projects approved for investment policy with a scale of 419,013 apartments.

Thus, the number of completed, started and constructed projects reached 49% of the target set by 2025 in the Project.
