International tourists to Phu Yen increase

NDO - From April 30 to May 4, Phu Yen is expected to welcome 85,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, including 1,150 international visitors, up 55% and 38.5% respectively over the same period last year.

The total number of guests staying is estimated at 52,700, up 42% over the same period last year, including 820 international guests; the average room occupancy rate is over 62%.

Notably, some large hotels such as Sala Grand Tuy Hoa, Rosa Alba Resort, Stelia Beach Resort, Sao Mai Beach Resort, Mandala Hotel & Spa Phu Yen and hotels and homestays near the beach achieved nearly 100% room occupancy from April 30 to May 2, 2025.

Compared to previous years, this 5-day holiday, the number of visitors from the Central Highlands provinces such as Dak Lak , Gia Lai, Dak Nong to Phu Yen is also very large.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen province, total revenue from tourists is estimated at 185 billion VND, up 41%, of which accommodation is estimated at 30.6 billion VND, up 35% over the same period last year.
