Opening of Thang Long-Hanoi Festival

On the evening of November 7, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site, the Hanoi People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the first Thang Long-Hanoi Festival in 2025 with the theme "Heritage-Connection-Era".

Attending the ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister; Pham Tat Thang, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; Nguyen Thuy Anh, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission; Nguyen Minh Vu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs .

The first Thang Long-Hanoi Festival in 2025 is a large-scale cultural and artistic event taking place from November 1 to November 16 with more than 30 unique cultural, artistic and tourism activities, with the participation of thousands of outstanding domestic and international artists and artisans.

Highlights include: Street Festival, traditional and contemporary art performances, heritage exhibitions, Ao Dai Festival, handicraft performances, talks and creative business networking activities... Festival activities are spread across many spaces such as: Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi Museum. The activities aim to honor and promote heritage values, promote cultural values ​​in developing the creative industry. In particular, the Opening Ceremony has the participation of nearly 1,000 professional actors.
