(Baoquangngai.vn) - The space displaying Hre culture associated with promoting the value of the special national relic site of the Ba To uprising is an activity that contributes to preserving and promoting national cultural heritage and preserving traditional cultural identity.
On the evening of April 16, at 11/3 Square (Ba To), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Ba To district organized the opening ceremony of the Hre Cultural Exhibition Space associated with promoting the value of the special national relic site of the Ba To Uprising, with the theme "Breath of the Great Forest - Imprint of Ba To". This is one of the activities in Quang Ngai
Tourism Week 2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized that the Hre Cultural Exhibition Space associated with promoting the value of the Special National Monument of the Ba To Uprising Site is an important event associated with preserving and promoting the unique cultural values of the Hre ethnic group. At the same time, honoring the Special National Monument of the Ba To Uprising - a brilliant milestone in the history of the revolutionary struggle of our people.

Not only do they have a unique culture, the Hre also have a tradition of patriotism and resilience in the fight to protect their homeland. The Ba To uprising that broke out on March 11, 1945 was one of the important milestones in the nation’s history, marking the strong uprising of the people in the mountainous areas of
Quang Ngai province under the leadership of the Party.

This is also an opportunity for the younger generation to learn, appreciate and continue the traditions of their ancestors.
This event not only marks the beginning of conservation activities but also opens up opportunities to exploit community tourism associated with the unique heritage of the Hre ethnic group on the heroic land of Ba To.
