(BLC) - On the morning of June 5, at Tay Bac Hotel, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Lai Chau city and Tam Duong district to organize the opening ceremony of a training course on swimming, diving and drowning prevention methods in 2023 in Lai Chau city cluster and Tam Duong district.
Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of Lai Chau city and Tam Duong district leaders and 50 students who are officials, civil servants of culture, information, the Center for Culture, Sports and Communication, physical education teachers, youth union officials... of Lai Chau city and Tam Duong district.

In the training class, students will study and research 7 topics: instructions on implementing some central documents related to physical education and sports; introduction to swimming and diving and instructions on organizing swimming lessons for children to prevent drowning; instructions on swimming techniques; practice teaching methods for frog swimming techniques; methods for preventing drowning; practice teaching methods for crawl swimming techniques; practice methods for preventing drowning.
Comrade Tran Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered the opening speech.
This is also an opportunity for students to exchange, learn and share skills, experiences, effective methods as well as discuss difficulties and problems in the process of propagating and guiding the implementation of swimming, diving and drowning prevention methods at the unit and locality.
The training course is expected to take place over 5 days from June 5 to 9.
