Attending the ceremony were comrades: Tan Thi Que - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Tam Duong District Party Committee; Ngo Quang Vinh - Director of Lai Chau Petroleum Company Limited.

Leaders of Tam Duong district, Ta Leng commune, and Lai Chau Petroleum Company Limited presented bicycles to disadvantaged students.

According to the report of Ta Leng Commune People's Committee, since the beginning of the year, the commune has effectively coordinated the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with a total support budget of nearly 4.3 billion VND. Lai Chau Petroleum Company Limited alone has supported the commune to build 46 new houses for poor and near-poor households with a total budget of 2.3 billion VND (50 million VND/household). To date, 100% of the houses have been completed and put into use, bringing joy and stability to the lives of families in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh - Director of Lai Chau Petroleum Company Limited presented a plaque to support 60 solidarity houses for Ta Leng commune.

It is known that in addition to Lai Chau Petroleum Company Limited, Ta Leng commune also received support from Ca Mau Fertilizer Company and IZI Lai Chau Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to build 2 houses to remove temporary and dilapidated houses with the amount of 140 million VND. 2 households have received new houses.

For the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the whole commune has 40 households receiving support, of which 28 new houses were built and 18 houses were repaired. The commune is speeding up the construction progress and completing and handing over to the families eligible for support.

Delegates handed over the solidarity house to the family of Mrs. Giang Thi Nu (Then Pa village).

At the ceremony, Lai Chau Petroleum Company also presented 50 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties at two schools: Ta Leng Primary and Secondary School. These gifts not only help the students to go to school conveniently, but also provide great spiritual encouragement for them to continue to strive to excel in their studies and life.

The program of house inauguration and handover, and bicycle donation has a profound humanitarian meaning, adding confidence and motivation for poor households and students to overcome difficulties and improve their lives. At the same time, it creates a premise to promote the socialization movement in the work of hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and new rural construction in the locality.
