The 4th National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) 2026 has the theme "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam".
Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Ayun H'But; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Siu Huong province.
Through 3 times of organizing Dien Hong Awards, press agencies operating in the province, including Gia Lai Newspaper, have actively participated and achieved many high awards. This demonstrates the attention and close direction of the leaders of the units as well as the capacity of the team of reporters in the province is constantly improving. Delegates attending the meeting said: The theme of this year's Dien Hong Awards "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam" is very broad, creating favorable conditions for the team of reporters to approach and exploit a variety of topics in many fields.
Journalist Huynh Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper proposed: "In order to have good press works participating in the award, with specificity and discovery, we hope that the leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will share and provide good and unique information for the press agencies and reporters to access and exploit, on that basis, express through press works. For Gia Lai Newspaper, the Editorial Board will direct the reporters to focus on investing in good quality works to participate in the Dien Hong Award".
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat emphasized: This year's Dien Hong Award has the theme "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam". This is not only an opportunity to look back on the glorious historical journey of our National Assembly since its establishment, but also an opportunity to honor the great contributions of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels in the cause of national construction and defense. Along with suggesting some good topics, bringing the breath of life, especially the contributions of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to the 80-year journey of the National Assembly of Vietnam for journalists and reporters in the province to exploit and express. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat said that he will create the most favorable conditions in providing related information and documents. For journalists and reporters with outstanding works when participating in the Dien Hong Award, Gia Lai province will promptly commend and reward them.
