The dilapidated house of Mrs. Phan Lo May's family before being built with support from the State and Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station.
The family of Mrs. Phan Lo May, born in 1973, in Seo Ho Thau village, Mo Si San commune, is in a particularly difficult situation and has few people. Therefore, after receiving 60 million VND in support under the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" of the province, officers and soldiers of Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station supported 100% of the working days to help Mrs. May's family build a house with an area of 45 square meters and a yard and kitchen of 24 square meters.
After more than 1 month of construction, on May 28, 2025, the new house was handed over to the family by Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station.
Also at the house inauguration and handover ceremony, Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station presented essential household items such as tables, chairs, cups, blankets, national flags, pictures of Uncle Ho... with a total value of about 43 million VND to Ms. Phan Lo May's family.
Leaders of Mo Si San Commune People's Committee and representatives of Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station Command handed over a solid house to Ms. Phan Lo May's family.
It is known that, with the goal of joining hands with all levels, sectors and localities in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to the motto "wherever there are soldiers, building houses for people as if building their own houses", since the implementation of the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" up to now, Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station has coordinated with local Party committees and authorities managed by the Station to register to support 12 houses with nearly 200 working days to participate in building new houses for poor households, policy families and households in especially difficult circumstances.
The inauguration and handover of the houses not only has the meaning of practical material support, but also is a source of profound spiritual encouragement, contributing to enhancing the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people and realizing the goal of "leaving no one behind" in Lai Chau province.
