Comrade Ho Thi Hong Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union Council delivered the opening speech of the training course.

MSc. Tran Minh Hai (Executive Director of Future Center, Ho Chi Minh City) delivered a presentation on the topic: "Understanding the psychology of children, especially naughty children"

This is a training course for teachers - Team Leaders, aiming to equip them with knowledge, skills, and expertise, improve their capacity to protect and care for children; promptly meet the need for equipping teachers - Team Leaders at the Team Unions with expertise and skills in Team work.

The training course took place over 2 days, April 10 and 11, 2025. Trainees were trained in the following topics: "Understanding the psychology of children, especially naughty children"; "Skills in listening to children"; "Questioning skills"; "Skills in communicating with children"; "Counseling skills"; "Skills in preventing child sexual abuse".

In recent years, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council of An Giang have implemented many meaningful and practical activities to promote children's participation in children's issues, such as: Pilot establishment of the Children's Council model and building 12 Children's Rights Clubs in 11 districts, towns, cities and at the An Giang Provincial Children's House. Every year, in coordination with departments and branches, they organize meetings of the Children's Council model, the Youth Propaganda Festival on Children's Law, Children's Forum, the "Listening to Children Speak" Forum model and online competitions to learn about Children's Law...

Through the activities, attracting nearly 1,000 children to participate, receiving nearly 3,000 opinions from children through different channels; having an initial assessment of the issues happening around the children, the things they are interested in and worried about, in order to work with sectors and levels to propose positive solutions in the work of caring for and protecting adolescents and children.
