Opening of "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang 2024"

On the evening of July 14, 2024, at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge, Son Tra District, Da Nang City, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan Province organized the Opening Ceremony of "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang 2024". Speaking at the opening of the event, comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ninh Thuan province, said that Ninh Thuan is a province in the South Central Coast region, located in the national tourist cluster of the Da Lat - Nha Trang - Phan Rang tourist triangle, with a unique climate of little rain, much sunshine, almost all year round little affected by storms, which geographers liken to " the unique desert region in Southeast Asia "... Ninh Thuan has a coastline of more than 105 km, with diverse species of seafood, endowed by nature with rich resources, biodiversity and many famous landscapes such as: Binh Son - Ninh Chu, Ca Na, Binh Tien beaches, with Nui Chua National Park and Phuoc Binh National Park still bearing the features of primeval forests, of which Nui Chua National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve; Vinh Hy Bay is ranked as a national scenic relic, one of the 8 most beautiful bays in Vietnam... The Cham pottery art was listed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection; Kate Festival, Cham cultural art with folk songs, Cham dances, along with traditional occupations and customs, religious rituals of the Cham people, ancient Cham towers such as: Poklong Garai Tower, Po Rome Tower, Hoa Lai Tower are almost intact... have become valuable tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Vietnamese culture.

In order to achieve the goal of making tourism a spearhead economic sector by 2025 and truly a spearhead economic sector with sustainable development by 2030; Ninh Thuan prioritizes calling for investment projects in key tourism development areas in the North, the South and the center of Phan Rang-Thap Cham city to form a system of hotels, commercial centers, complex entertainment areas combined with resorts and accommodation; high-class coastal resorts; build and develop distinctive and attractive tourism products; at the same time, promote linkage and cooperation in tourism development with provinces and cities in the Central coastal region and provinces and cities nationwide.

With the tradition of hospitality, friendliness and aspirations of the cadres and people of Ninh Thuan, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pledged to create the most favorable conditions for investors in sustainable tourism development; coming to Ninh Thuan to invest, experience, visit and relax; businesses will soon realize that Ninh Thuan is truly a reliable, safe, friendly destination with many new development opportunities.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully thanked the leaders of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, a number of functional units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the leaders of the Da Nang City Party Committee, the leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City and a number of functional agencies of Da Nang for creating conditions and coordinating to organize this important event for Ninh Thuan to meet, share, promote the beauty of culture, tourism, potentials and advantages of Ninh Thuan province to tourists, investors, the business community and people in Da Nang city; thanked the reporters and journalists of the central and local press agencies residing in Da Nang city for attending and reporting, contributing to informing and promoting the event.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, highly appreciated the close attention of the leaders of Ninh Thuan province, the correct and accurate advice of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province with the determination to promote the image of Ninh Thuan as an attractive destination with unique culture, friendly and hospitable people, unique and different tourism products, the land of sunshine and wind has created the strong vitality of Ninh Thuan people. On this occasion, Comrade Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu called on tourism businesses, investors, airlines, cruise lines and Vietnam Railways Corporation to join in, cooperate to develop tourism products, connect Ninh Thuan destinations with the whole country through Da Nang, the hub of the Central region. He requested that Ninh Thuan province continue to pay more attention to attracting investment, developing products, promoting promotion; create conditions for businesses, promote innovation, determined to develop Ninh Thuan tourism to reach regional and world levels.

The event "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang" takes place from July 13 to 15, 2024 with the theme " Ninh Thuan - Land of Convergence of Different Values " with many unique and attractive activities such as: Special art program to open the event; performance and experience of making Cham pottery and brocade weaving; performance of traditional musical instruments such as: Chapi, Ghi nang drum, ma la , Cham dance. In addition, the event also has 50 booths displaying and introducing the beauty of culture, tourism , destinations, very unique and different landscapes; OCOP products, typical products, specialties of localities and special culinary dishes of Ninh Thuan province.

Immediately after the opening of the event, leaders of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, leaders of Da Nang city, leaders of Ninh Thuan province, delegates and a large number of people and tourists visited, directly experienced and enjoyed Cham dances, impressive and unique art performances of Ninh Thuan culture; culinary flavors, hometown specialties as well as many typical products of Ninh Thuan province displayed at the event./.
