Opening of safe food market in Truong Van commune

On the morning of November 6, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People's Committee of Truong Van commune to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 Safe Food Market in Thanh Hoa province.

The 2025 Safe Food Fair was held at Truong Van Commune Stadium on November 6 and 7. The fair displayed and introduced hundreds of items such as food, agricultural products, seafood, beverages, processed foods, OCOP products... of businesses, cooperatives, and business households supplying safe food in and outside the province. All products have clear origins, are strictly quality controlled, and have the participation of state management agencies in monitoring food safety.

Speaking at the opening of the market, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Le Tien Dung emphasized: The market is organized not only as a place to connect producers and consumers, but also as a practical activity to promote and consume safe agricultural products - food, local specialties, contributing to building sustainable consumption habits and promoting the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".

Implementing Plan No. 237/KH-UBND of the People's Committee on piloting the "Safe Food Market" in Thanh Hoa province for the period 2023-2025, in 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade successfully organized 4 safe food markets with a scale of 30 booths each, attracting a large number of people to visit and shop.

The market displays and introduces hundreds of items such as food, agricultural products, seafood, beverages, processed foods, OCOP products... of businesses, cooperatives, and business households supplying safe food in and outside the province.

In 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with localities to organize 4 safe food markets. The markets help local people access safe, reputable, and quality food products; at the same time, create conditions for businesses, cooperatives, and business households to display and promote products, and expand consumption markets.
