Dong Quan Waterfall Ecotourism Opening in 2024

On the evening of April 21, in Hoa Quy commune, Nhu Xuan district, the opening ceremony of Dong Quan waterfall eco-tourism in 2024 was held.

Delegates along with a large number of people and tourists attended the opening ceremony of Dong Quan waterfall eco-tourism.

Dong Quan Waterfall Ecotourism Area is located in Dong Tam village, Hoa Quy commune. The waterfall originates from the top of Bu Mun mountain, more than 1,000m above sea level, formed from hundreds of small streams, creating an extremely beautiful and interesting waterfall. From the foot of the waterfall, about 150m up, visitors will see a magical waterfall, which the locals call "Fairy Waterfall".

In addition to its value as an ecological reserve, with its poetic natural beauty, Dong Quan waterfall also contains many cultural and historical values of the ethnic groups living here. On January 24, 2019, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 376/QD-UBND recognizing Dong Quan waterfall tourist site as a provincial-level scenic relic.

Comrade Le Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhu Xuan district delivered the opening speech.

In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhu Xuan District, Le Anh Tuan, said: In recent years, a number of construction items at the Dong Quan Waterfall eco-tourism area have been invested in by the district and are being effectively promoted. To serve tourists in the 2024 tourist season, the district's Center for Culture, Information and Tourism has invested in a number of additional items such as: Planting more than 5,000 new sim and peony trees; making heart-shaped flower roads, water wheels of the Thai people; renovating, decorating, and renewing check-in points....

Coming to Dong Quan waterfall eco-tourism, visitors will experience culinary services with many delicious and unique dishes and relax, enjoy the scenery and fresh, cool air.

Comrade Luong Thi Hoa, Secretary of Nhu Xuan District Party Committee, beat the drum to inaugurate Dong Quan waterfall tourism 2024.

Right after District Party Secretary Luong Thi Hoa beat the drum to open Dong Quan waterfall eco-tourism in 2024, there was an art program with special performances by actors from Lam Son Dance and Drama Theater and amateur actors of the district.
