Opening of the Press Center to serve the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of April 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Press Center serving the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification was officially opened. The Press Center is located at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, near the parade area on April 30, to create favorable conditions for reporters and editors to directly cover these important events.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized: "The opening of the Press Center on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification is an important step, contributing to creating favorable conditions for press agencies to carry out the task of conveying official and accurate information about this historical event to a large number of people at home and abroad."

The leaders of Ho Chi Minh City also emphasized the role of the Press Center in supporting the propaganda and dissemination of information related to commemorative activities, especially military parades, marches, and special cultural and artistic programs; expecting the Center to help domestic and foreign press agencies operate effectively, while ensuring the transmission of information quickly and accurately.
