Opening of OCOP standard agricultural processing factory in Do Luong

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Measurement Department, Agricultural Extension Center; Department of Economic Cooperation and Rural Development; Farmers' Association, Provincial Women's Union; representatives of leaders and departments of Do Luong district and Bach Ngoc Commune People's Committee; representatives of companies and units cooperating in production and distribution of products with Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang - Director of Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company expressed her thanks to the authorities at all levels, departments, branches and organizations for creating favorable conditions for the company to develop.

Ms. Hang also affirmed that she will always accompany the people and localities in supporting the production and processing of agricultural products, contributing to increasing the value of agricultural products in her hometown.

At the ceremony, Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company signed a commitment with partners on product distribution, signed a "union member welfare commitment" with the Do Luong District Labor Federation to help workers and union members use the company's products at preferential prices.

Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company was established in August 2021. After more than 3 years of operation, directly growing, purchasing and processing local agricultural products, Hang Moon Import-Export Company has had 7 products certified with 3-star OCOP at the provincial level and is still maintaining the quality of OCOP products, while expanding to many new products.

During the operation process, from deep processing of local herbs and agricultural products such as perilla, lemongrass, lemon, etc., many useful products have been created, well received by the market.

The company's products have participated in competitions and won many awards such as: Innovation Encouragement Award 2022; Top 5 Best Startup Projects in Nghe An province; Third Prize in the Central region and National Encouragement Award in the "Women Start-up to Promote Local Resources" Competition 2023.

Among the products currently being produced, there are 3 products that have achieved the title of "Typical rural industrial products at the district level in 2024".
