Anne Simmons, 57, who worked in the British Royal Family for 10 years, revealed that she often uses simple and cheap tips to deodorize her car.
According to Anne, when preparing a car for a royal family member, although the car was very clean, it still had a musty smell. To fix it, she put a few dry tea bags (tea bags) in the car and the unpleasant smell disappeared, replaced by a light, pleasant fragrance.
"Tea bags are great at absorbing odors and are hypoallergenic. I often put them in the glove compartment, under the seat or in the cup holder in the car. The royals love this gentle scent," said Anne.
According to experts, tea leaves have the ability to absorb natural odors, absorb moisture and odors from closed spaces without using strong fragrances. This is a safe and economical solution for all types of car interiors, including leather and fabric.
In addition to loose leaf tea, other herbal teas such as lavender or peppermint can be used for a pleasant scent. Place tea bags in discreet locations such as under the seat, in the glove compartment or in the cup holder, and replace them every 2–3 weeks.
This is a simple, cheap, readily available yet effective way to keep your car smelling fresh without the need for expensive chemical products.
