Lam Dong Province Department of Agriculture and Environment said that the unit has just completed inspection of packaging facilities and durian growing areas and has not detected any cases of contamination with the banned substances yellow O and cadmium.

Lam Dong 's durian products are guaranteed to meet export market standards. Lam Dong has granted 114 durian growing area codes with an area of ​​over 5,000 hectares, accounting for 60.2% of the total pure growing business area, and 10 packaging facilities for export.

In 2024, Lam Dong's durian export output will reach more than 25,500 tons, with a total export turnover of about 104.15 million USD.

By 2025, the total durian area in the province is estimated to reach 25,610 hectares with a harvest output of more than 176,000 tons. The main durian growing areas in Lam Dong are entering the early harvest season to serve both the domestic and export markets.
