Philosophy of designing circulating water surface, for humanity

If at Ecopark Hung Yen , the investor uses a centralized plant system to treat water sources, then at Eco Central Park, the investor applies a "dispersed" method.

European Island inherits the successful experience of Ecopark founder in treating circulating water at Ecopark Island Villa (Hung Yen).

“We use the special “power” of plants, which are scattered throughout the project such as reeds, water hyacinths, vetiver grass, etc. These are aquatic plants that have the effect of filtering, cleaning the water environment, absorbing and transforming excess organic substances and heavy metals in the water, including toxic substances such as lead and mercury. In addition, Nghe An aims to preserve native semi-submerged plants to create aquatic systems and maintain earthen embankments, so we plant more mangroves, sedges, parrots and additional aquatic landscape plants to create a landscape along the water surface such as water bamboo and narcissus”, Mr. Nguyen Duc Canh - Deputy General Director of Eco Central Park shared.

Mr. Canh added that the circulation and replacement of water at European Island is done regularly when water is pumped and continuously added to the water surface system of the lakes in the project. The remaining old water in the lake is always pumped away to water the landscape trees of the entire urban area. Therefore, the water flow is also continuously replaced. Any route that crosses the water surface is arranged with large lake drains, ensuring that the water is circulated evenly, without dead corners.

To create a natural flow for the water surface, the lake water surfaces in each construction area are stepped with different heights, controlled by a modern regulating sluice gate system. Creating a flow for the water is extremely important because thanks to the continuous circulation, the water has the ability to self-clean, avoiding algae outbreaks, the main cause of pollution for stagnant ponds. In addition, the water at European Island is also taken from completely natural sources such as rainwater or water from the Rao Dung River. Natural water has the advantage of being rich in microorganisms, chemical-free, and capable of improving the living environment.

Safe water surface design according to Ecopark's philosophy of humanity.

Inspired by water design, Ecopark investor focuses on creating safety for the water surface. Accordingly, a safety corridor is implemented according to the principle: 1m wide land boundary, tightly driven bamboo poles to reinforce the ecological embankment, then a 30-degree sloping aquatic buffer layer, 2.5m wide.

This is an environmentally friendly reinforcement technique, strengthening the ground along the water surface, helping residents feel secure about the stability of the ground, garden as well as the interior, wooden floors constructed on the island branch. "This is also a design based on the philosophy of humanity, putting safety first, because behind the land boundary is still a safe area for the elderly and children. This is different from natural lakes or investors who take advantage of natural water surfaces but do not invest in safety reinforcement", the representative of the Ecopark investor shared more.
