But the beauty of Quang Binh does not stop there. This land also preserves countless unique and wild natural landscapes. From the blue rivers like soft silk ribbons winding between the majestic mountains, to the smooth white sand beaches stretching under the dawn, where the waves lapping in the ears, promises to bring interesting and surprising discovery experiences.

Continuing the journey to discover the precious gems of Quang Binh , let's come to equally attractive and unique destinations: Thien Duong Cave - a magnificent "royal palace", a majestic underground kingdom hidden deep in the heart of mother earth, along with the poetic, clear beauty like a watercolor painting of HaVa Valley and the emerald green Chay River.
These are not only places that captivate people with their stunning natural scenery, a magical contrast between the ancient majesty of the caves and the freshness and liveliness of the rivers, but also promise to bring exciting adventurous experiences and unforgettable moments of relaxation.
Thien Duong Cave – “Royal Palace” underground
To reach the entrance of Thien Duong Cave, visitors must pass through a winding road under the canopy of the primeval forest of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park . The fresh air, the chirping of birds and the endless green of the trees and leaves are like a gentle prelude, preparing for the overwhelming experience ahead. Passing over 500 stone steps or choosing to take the electric car along the mountainside, visitors will reach the small, humble cave entrance, completely contrasting with the majestic world hidden inside.
Discovered in 2005 by a local while taking shelter from the rain and then surveyed by the British Royal Cave Association, Paradise Cave quickly became a big hit. With a recorded length of up to 31.4km, this is considered one of the longest dry caves in Asia, a number that is enough to prove its magnificence. Not only that, the width of the cave is up to 150m, even 200m, and the ceiling is 60-80m high, creating an extremely large interior space, enough to accommodate a skyscraper.
Join the journey to explore Thien Duong Cave, where every step is a surprise. Every corner of the cave is a perfect natural picture, with a system of stalactites and stalagmites, creating a scene like a fairyland.
As soon as you step through the cave entrance, a cool, pure stream of air rushes out like a greeting from the past, carrying the breath of the earth. The distinct temperature difference, as the inside of the cave is always maintained at 18-22°C, completely different from the harsh sunlight typical of the Central region, is like a miracle taking us into another world, a cool oasis in the middle of the sweltering summer. This feature not only brings comfort to visitors but also contributes to creating a sense of separation, as if entering a natural sanctuary, where time stands still. And then, before visitors' eyes is an immense, magical space that opens up endlessly, an underground world artistically illuminated, revealing its hidden beauty.
What makes Thien Duong Cave different and famous is the system of massive stalactites and stalagmites, diverse in shape and color, a marvelous sculpture created over millions of years by the talented hands of Mother Nature. Drops of water containing calcium carbonate (CaCO3) have patiently and persistently dripped down from the cave ceiling, day after day, millennium after millennium, to weave a magnificent stone painting.
The cleverly arranged lighting further enhances the magical beauty of the stalactites of various shapes. It is said that each stone and stalactite here is associated with a story, a rich imagination. There is the Stone Flower Garden Palace with stalactites resembling blooming flowers, here is the Giao Tri Palace where fairies used to play with the calm lake, or the cold Quang Han Palace with its hanging stone curtains.
Particularly impressive is the stalactite block that is likened to the Lotus Tower or the image of the Central Highlands' Rong house standing tall in the middle of the cave... All create a majestic and magnificent "underground palace", making anyone admire.
Since 2010, the cave has officially opened to visitors on a wooden bridge over 1km long. Every step on the bridge is a new discovery, a different perspective on the wonders of nature. To preserve this beauty, preserving the pristine nature of the cave is extremely important. Every visitor here is reminded not to touch the stalactites, not to litter, contributing to the protection of this unique "royal palace".
HaVa Valley and Chay River – A symphony of water and mountains
Leaving behind the mysterious and profound beauty of the underworld, we feel reborn when stepping out into the open space, filled with sunlight and the fresh breath of HaVa Valley and Chay River. HaVa Valley, with an area of about 16 hectares, appears like a jade-green oasis in the middle of limestone mountains. Legend has it that the name HaVa is a misnomer of “Lower World and Cliffs”, a poetic name, evoking the image of a paradise on earth, nestled peacefully under majestic cliffs.
HaVa Valley is crowded with tourists coming to have fun, swim in the river, and kayak in the middle of poetic nature.
The emerald green water is so clear that it touches the heart, with moments of silence like a giant mirror, reflecting the white clouds drifting by and the majestic mountain peaks leaning over to reflect. The emerald green color is not only beautiful to the eye but also brings a feeling of relaxation, as if all the worries of everyday life are washed away by the water.
This place is not only an ideal place for relaxing kayaking, drifting along the calm water, but also a place to test your courage with the exciting zipline game across the river or jumping into the cool water from the safely designed jumping points. The fresh air and peaceful scenery of the valley bring a feeling of absolute relaxation, like a natural therapy to wash away all worries and regenerate life energy.
Not far away is the Chay River, a gentle river about 10 km long, winding like a jade stream between two lush green banks. The river water is incredibly clear, you can clearly see schools of fish swimming at the bottom. Local people say that in the past, both sides of the river were home to many precious animals, and the river was the source of life that nourished the entire region.
Nowadays, Chay River is often combined with the Dark Cave discovery tour, offering unique experiences such as natural mineral mud baths - a wonderful relaxation therapy for the skin and health, ziplining across the river and kayaking to explore the beauty of both banks. Anyone who comes here feels the silent invitation of nature, that preserving the purity of the water and protecting the coastal ecosystem is the way to keep Chay River forever the "green gem" of Quang Binh, so that each trip is not only for fun but also a complete and meaningful harmony.
