(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of May 6, the inspection team of the City Department of Health inspected and supervised the periodic health check-ups for the elderly at the City Center for Social Care and Protection.
Periodic health check-ups for the elderly are implemented according to Resolution No. 15/2022/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council, aiming to implement policies to encourage and support collectives and individuals with achievements in population work in the area.
The periodic health check-up activities were organized with close coordination between An Lao District Medical Center, the City Center for Social Care and Protection, and Hanoi - Hai Phong Eye Hospital. Preparations were carried out carefully, from human resource arrangement, medical equipment to professional procedures, to ensure health check-ups for nearly 100 elderly people being cared for at the Center. The examination contents include: internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology; blood sugar test, ultrasound, electrocardiogram and other paraclinical indicators. The entire examination process was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 32/2023/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health , guiding the implementation of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
After synthesizing the health examination results, An Lao District Medical Center instructed the medical team of the City Center for Social Care and Protection to establish a health monitoring book for each elderly person. This is to closely manage the health status of each subject, paying special attention to cases of chronic non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. Thereby, helping to build a suitable and effective health care plan, contributing to improving the quality of health care for the elderly at the Center./.
