Speaking at the program, Director of the Center for Social Work and the Hanoi Children's Support Fund Nguyen Van Trieu affirmed: In recent years, the work of protecting and caring for children has always been of interest to the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee, with direction from all levels and sectors to ensure that children live in a safe, healthy, and friendly environment, and are given conditions for comprehensive development.
Implementing Plan No. 83/KH-UBND dated March 29, 2025 of the City People's Committee with the theme "Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children", the Hanoi Department of Health has been implementing health care activities, screening for motor and congenital heart defects for 12,000 children; giving scholarships and gifts to 265 children in special circumstances and difficult circumstances at the Launching Ceremony; giving gifts at social protection facilities, districts in the city and many other meaningful activities such as painting activities, Vitamin A supplementation campaign, micronutrient day for children...

Within the framework of the program at Social Protection Center 3, along with Hanoi Heart Hospital organizing health check-ups for children, the Social Work Center and Hanoi Children's Fund presented gifts to 75 children with a total value of 30 million VND. Hanoi Heart Hospital also donated 2 televisions worth 15 million VND to Social Protection Center 3, serving the activities of the Center and the children. This is a very meaningful activity to ensure that the children have comprehensive health, bringing joy, spiritual encouragement as well as material encouragement to children in special circumstances being raised at the Center.

According to Director of Hanoi Heart Hospital Nguyen Sinh Hien, the program of examining and giving gifts to children at social protection centers is one of the annual joint activities between the Center for Social Work and the Hanoi Children's Fund and Hanoi Heart Hospital. In recent years, Hanoi Heart Hospital has worked with the Center for Social Work and the Hanoi Children's Fund to screen for congenital heart disease for hundreds of thousands of children in districts of Hanoi.
Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hien expressed his belief that meaningful activities aimed at the disadvantaged community will continue to be expanded, contributing to ensuring social security in the city and realizing goals for children.

Together with the children receiving affection, care and meaningful gifts from the units, Director of the Support Center 3 Nguyen Thi Hai shared: “The attention of the doctors and nurses of Hanoi Heart Hospital in medical examination and treatment, along with the meaningful gifts from the units for the children are great encouragement, helping the children overcome difficulties in family circumstances, health conditions, and gain more determination and strength in their journey to adulthood. Along with these children in special circumstances, there will always be the care and attention of the teachers and doctors of the Social Support Center 3 in particular and the whole society in general”./.
