Audiences are 'shocked' by the singing voices of 2 People's Artists Quang Tho, Trung Duc and Tung Duong

On the evening of April 28, the program "The Party in the Spring of Great Victory" with the singing of People's Artist Quang Tho, Trung Duc, Tung Duong and leading artists of revolutionary music moved the audience.

After the great success in Da Nang , the special art program Party in the great spring victory season 2 took place on the evening of April 28 at Ho Guom Theater ( Hanoi ). General Secretary To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly attended the program.

The Party in the Great Spring Victory is likened to a heroic song celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification when introducing the most classic songs of revolutionary music through leading voices familiar to many generations of audiences past and present such as: People's Artist Quang Tho, People's Artist Trung Duc, People's Artist Thu Hien, Tung Duong, Lan Anh, Dang Duong....

The program is divided into 2 parts: Forever believing in the Party and Great Spring Victory. In part 1, the performances were arranged by musician Tran Manh Hung for the symphony orchestra. The audience was thrilled to enjoy the singing of People's Artist Quang Tho, Dang Duong, Lan Anh, Viet Danh, Dao To Loan, Bao Yen, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Le Anh Dung, Dong Hung... through revolutionary melodies that live forever with time.

The Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) with the participation of talented domestic and international musicians under the direction of the famous conductor Olivier Ochanine brought a magnificent and sophisticated orchestration, elevating the classic revolutionary songs. Interestingly, the red music songs were performed impressively and in a new way by foreign musicians and conductors, but still did not lose the Vietnamese spirit.

The special music night gathered 3 leading People's Artists of the red music genre including Quang Tho, Thu Hien and Trung Duc. The stage was elaborately staged with impressive visual effects that increased the absolute effectiveness of the performances. The Party in the Great Spring Victory was built as an artistic epic, connecting the glorious past of the nation with the present and bright future. The audience seemed to go back in time to relive the important, tragic but also extremely proud moments through the two long resistance wars of the nation.

The Sun Symphony Orchestra with French conductor Olivier Ochanine delivered a world-class performance.

In part 2 of the program, Tung Duong once again moved the audience with his moving voice in Mau Hoa Do (The Color of Red Flowers) and impressive staging. Through music, the program praised the talented and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh, honored the passionate patriotism, indomitable will, courage and sacrifice of generations of fathers and brothers who created the historic Great Victory of Spring 1975 to unify the country.

The final performance of the program with the medley of 5 brothers on a tank, Marching to Saigon and The country is full of joy performed by Dang Duong, Vu Thang Loi, Le Anh Dung, Viet Danh, Dong Hung brought an explosive and emotional performance.

The entire auditorium of the Ho Guom Theater was filled with flags and flowers, in harmony with the music, as if reliving the moment of victory 50 years ago. Once again, the audience happily felt today's peace, national pride and deep gratitude to those who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

People's Artist Thu Hien shared: "Participating in the Party program in the great spring victory, I bring the immortal melodies of Cau ho ben bo Hien Luong . I once sang this song in a very special context. Not on the bridge but singing on the riverbank, under the tunnel, standing on this side of the river to speak out for the people on the other side.

There were times when I sang underground, without a microphone but only with a kerosene lamp or a hurricane lamp, the melodies would forever be in my heart, never to be forgotten. Bringing the song that had become a memorable mark to the Party program during the great spring victory, I thought it was an opportunity to relive the most sacred emotions in my life."

Meritorious Artist Dang Duong said: "The SSO Symphony Orchestra is one of the international standard orchestras. We are very happy to perform with conductor Olivier. We practiced day and night together because there were many performances such as duets, solos, trios, and choirs, which required time to get into tune. Although we only had 2 days, we tried our best to fulfill the requirements of the Organizing Committee, bringing the audience the most emotional performances."
