Urgent support for people to overcome the consequences after the tornado

(PLVN) - At around 8:30 a.m. on May 30, a heavy rain accompanied by a tornado occurred in Group 2, Bao Tram Hamlet, Nam Yen Commune, An Bien District, Kien Giang Province, causing the roofs of 6 houses of 6 households to be blown off and severely damaged. The total damage is estimated at nearly 200 million VND.

Immediately after receiving the information, Nam Yen Commune Police quickly mobilized 26 officers, soldiers and security forces of the hamlets, in coordination with the Commune Military Command to urgently arrive at the scene. The functional forces organized to grasp the situation, support people to clean up their belongings, reinforce their houses and overcome the consequences caused by the natural disaster.
