According to the plan, the entire system of equipment, software for monitoring, traffic management, toll stations and vehicle load control must be completed before October 31, 2025. System integration and trial operation will take place from November 1 to December 31, 2025.
For the 5 component projects under the form of public investment in the period 2017-2020, including: Mai Son - National Highway 45, National Highway 45 - Nghi Son, Nghi Son - Dien Chau, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet, Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, the system installation has been implemented since the end of March and is expected to be completed in September, however, some packages are behind schedule.
Meanwhile, 12 component projects in the 2021–2025 period are also behind schedule. Of these, 6 projects, such as Van Ninh - Cam Lo, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh, Chi Thanh - Van Phong, Van Phong - Nha Trang, are expected to complete approval of design documents and estimates in May.
Four component projects including: Vung Ang - Bung, Bung - Van Ninh, Can Tho - Hau Giang, Hau Giang - Ca Mau are expected to complete approval of design documents and estimates in early June; two component projects Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang will be completed at the end of June.
The Ministry of Construction emphasized the requirement that units must speed up procedures and implement construction on schedule to ensure the goal of collecting tolls on the entire route from 2026 as directed by the Government.
