Urgently check some weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Food Safety Department requested relevant units to urgently conduct inspections, reviews, and take samples from the market of a number of weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98.

These are the 3 products that the Ministry of Health requires samples for testing.

The Food Safety Department said that the unit received information from the Ho Chi Minh City Food Safety Department regarding the inspection and verification of the production, business and advertising activities of some weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98 including: X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 plus.

Through initial verification, distribution companies such as Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited and Ngan 98 Trading and Service Company Limited have temporarily suspended operations, are no longer physically present at the registered address and cannot be contacted.

Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety has not been able to verify whether the products of the above units are still circulating on the market or not.

Immediately after receiving the report from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety, the Department of Food Safety requested the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, local Market Management Departments, Departments of Health , Departments of Food Safety, Food Safety Management Boards and local Food Safety and Hygiene Departments to urgently conduct inspections, reviews, take samples from the market and handle violations (if any) of the above products in accordance with regulations.

In order to protect consumers' health and prevent food safety risks, the Food Safety Department recommends that people should not buy or use food products named X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 plus, produced by Nano Tesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited, located in Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi City) while waiting for the authorities to complete the inspection and verification of the above products.

At the regular Government meeting in May 2025, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan said,

The Minister emphasized that on June 15, after 1 month of implementing the peak month of fighting against counterfeit and poor quality goods under the direction of the Prime Minister, we need to evaluate, summarize and propose more effective solutions to implement in the next phase.
