Phase 2 of the Mường Ảng Commune Central Market inaugurated.

Dien Bien Phu - Phase 2 of the Muong Ang Commune Central Market was inaugurated and put into operation on the morning of November 27th.

Phase 2 of the Muong Ang Commune Central Market Project has a total investment of 14.5 billion VND, using local government budget funds. Construction commenced on December 20, 2024, and is scheduled for completion on October 25, 2025. The main components include: renovating and adding new stalls; roofing the fresh produce stalls and OCOP product display areas; repairing, renovating, and upgrading the drainage system and wastewater system; constructing a wastewater collection and treatment tank before discharging into the general drainage system; building a partition wall between the fresh produce stalls and outdoor business areas; and other supporting items.

Representatives performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the second phase of the Muong Ang Commune Central Market.

The completion and commissioning of the project contributes to improving business efficiency, creating favorable conditions for the trading activities of small traders, and meeting the increasing shopping needs of people in the area. This is also an important step in the development of commercial infrastructure, making a positive contribution to the socio -economic development goals of Muong Ang commune in the coming time.
