Inauguration of the project "Electricity to light up the village" in Chieng Sung commune

On July 28, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chieng Sung commune held the inauguration ceremony of the project "Electricity to light up the village".

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrade Nguyen Thai Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches; representatives of sponsoring units.

The project "Electricity to light up the village" includes 150 solar lights, installed on the roads along Provincial Road 110 passing through Chieng Sung commune, with a total value of 375 million VND, sponsored by agencies, businesses and cooperatives in the province.

Phase 1, the project will install 60 solar lights from Yen Binh village to Tan Lap village, on a 3km long road. Phase 2 is expected to continue from August 2025, installing 90 solar lights from Phuong village to Sai Luong village. The project will be completed and put into use, helping people to travel more conveniently, contributing to maintaining security and order, gradually completing the criteria for building new rural areas.
