DTO - On June 23, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Secretariat in coordination with the Hope Fund organized the inauguration ceremony of 3 Hope bridges including: bridge number 309, bridge number 353, bridge number 372 and the groundbreaking ceremony of 3 Hope bridges: bridge number 382, bridge number 383, bridge number 384 in 2 districts: Lai Vung and Chau Thanh.

Attending the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of the Hope Bridges were Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh - President of the Hope Fund, Mr. Nguyen Tien Danh - Project Director of the Hope Fund, Mr. Pathan Qadeer Raza - General Director of Roche Vietnam Co., Ltd. Also attending were comrade Le Hoang Quyet - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of the leaders of the two districts: Lai Vung and Chau Thanh.
According to the Provincial Youth Union Secretariat, the Hope Bridges are designed and built with reinforced concrete, 19 - 36m long, 3.5 - 5.5m wide. The total cost of building 6 Hope Bridges is over 3.4 billion VND. Of which, the Hope Fund and Roche Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored over 700 million VND, the rest was invested by the local budget and contributed by benefactors and donors inside and outside the province.
Construction of Hope Bridge No. 382 in Hoa Long Commune, Lai Vung District started
The solid bridges were completed and put into use, creating more favorable conditions for people to travel and transport agricultural products, thereby promoting local socio -economic development. In particular, these are practical projects that the Hope Fund has accompanied the Provincial Youth Union in building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas in the Red Lotus Land. At the same time, it has made achievements to welcome the Congresses of the Youth Union at all levels towards the 6th Congress of the Youth Union of Dong Thap province, term 2024 - 2029.
