Veteran Pham Hong Sam lives in an unsafe house. With the attention of the Veterans Association at all levels and local authorities, after more than 3 months of construction, the solid flat-roofed house with full ancillary facilities with a total area of 160 m² has been basically completed. The total cost of completing the project is 845 million VND, of which the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association supported 80 million VND, members of the Veterans Association of Chan Ly commune supported 3 million VND, the rest is from family savings, relatives and loved ones.
The program of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has a profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the will, determination and efforts of Party committees, authorities and the social community towards people with revolutionary contributions, poor households, near-poor households and disadvantaged people. The new house will be a source of encouragement for Veterans Association member Pham Hong Sam to stabilize his life, continue to promote revolutionary traditions, set a good example, encourage his children and grandchildren to comply well with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and contribute to the cause of building and renewing the homeland.
