Inauguration of "House of Gratitude" for households in difficult circumstances in An Hung ward, Hong Bang district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Party's Internal Affairs Sector's Traditional Day (January 5, 1966 - January 5, 2026), on the morning of June 5, the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee coordinated with the Hong Bang District Party Committee to organize the inauguration ceremony of the "House of Gratitude" for households in especially difficult circumstances in An Hung ward, Hong Bang district.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrades: Bui Thi Hong Van, Member of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Do Viet Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hong Bang District.

The City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee in coordination with the Hong Bang District Party Committee inaugurated the "House of Gratitude" for the family of Ms. Bui Thi Lan, born in 1960, in Doai Residential Group, An Hung Ward, Hong Bang District. Her family's previous house, which had an area of ​​35 square meters and was built in 1972, was seriously degraded, with cracked walls and a damaged roof, affecting the family's daily life.

After nearly 1 month of construction, the house has been officially completed and put into use with a total construction cost of 175 million VND, of which the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee supported 60 million VND; the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Bang District supported 40 million VND along with the support of organizations, unions, businesses and philanthropists.

Supporting the construction of “Houses of Gratitude” for households in difficult circumstances is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, not only helping families reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives, but also demonstrating the noble gesture, solidarity and affection of all levels, sectors and the whole community. Thereby helping her family rebuild a more solid and sturdy house, contributing to ensuring social security in the area./.
