Survey of new tours and tourism products in Phu Quy Island

BTO-From April 23-25, Binh Thuan Province Tourism Promotion Information Center coordinated with media units to conduct a survey program on tours, new tourism products and a tourism promotion communication campaign in Phu Quy island district.

Small beach with beautiful scenery attracts many tourists

Here, the delegation visited tourist attractions of Phu Quy Island such as: Ganh Hang, Sovereignty Marker, Doc Phuot, Thay's Tomb, Linh Son Pagoda, Lach Du, sunset viewing spot at Trieu Duong Bay and Ngu Phung Embankment... From these attractions, Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Information Center will build tours suitable for each tourist's needs, especially tourists who love to experience and explore nature. In addition to surveying to form new tours, Binh Thuan aims to build and develop green tourism, eco-tourism associated with a propaganda campaign to join hands to protect the marine and island environment.

Mr. Ngo Tan Luc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quy island district, said: Currently, Phu Quy is coordinating with other units to build many new and attractive tourism products to attract tourists. In particular, building tourism products in the direction of environmental protection is also the goal that Phu Quy is aiming for.

56 nautical miles from Phan Thiet city in the East - Southeast direction, Phu Quy island district is known as a place with great potential for marine economy, especially in the field of tourism. In recent years, Phu Quy tourism has developed strongly, especially since the 24/24 power source has opened a new era for Phu Quy. In 2023, more than 165,000 tourists visited Phu Quy island; in the first 3 months of 2024, the island welcomed nearly 24,000 visitors, an increase of 14,000 over the same period in 2023.
