The red flag with yellow star, which is the sacred symbol of the nation, now not only appears on important occasions but is also expressed more creatively and closer to everyone.

A bakery in Thanh Xuan (Hanoi) has launched a limited edition cake called "Patriotic Cake" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. On the round cakes with a red background and a bronze drum pattern printed on them is a prominent yellow image of the S-shaped map of Vietnam, along with meaningful messages: "There are cakes that are not only made from flour and eggs, but are molded with national pride. The S-shaped map - located right in the center of the cake, is like the heart of Vietnam beating between generations. The bronze drum pattern - echoes thousands of years of culture, wrapping history in every line. The bright red color is like the flag, like passion, like the never-ending desire to protect the country. This is not a cake to be eaten in a hurry. But it is a gentle reminder: "We are Vietnamese, red blood, yellow skin and we are proud of that".

Inspired by the image of the red flag with a yellow star, another cake shop chain in Hanoi also launched a set of red flag with a yellow star cakes that are extremely beautiful and impressive. The shop said: "This is not just a simple cake, but also a tribute to those who built today's peace, a meaningful reminder for the current generation to remember, cherish, and continue what our ancestors have built.

Each cake is a tribute and pride towards the country on the occasion of April 30.

Putting national pride into each small cake made by her own hands, Ms. Hoang Nguyen Lan Nhi wrote: "The wagashi cake bears the image of the national flag - a bright red background, a five-pointed yellow star, this is not only a symbol, but also the soul of the nation. Each star represents a class of people, a part of the Fatherland together making history. The sweetness of the cake blends with the sacred red color, like a gentle reminder: today's freedom, begins with the aspiration, blood and intact faith of many previous generations".
