In the Land of the Rising Sun, there are currently two dishes with similar names: Hamburger (Hambaga) - a Western fast food and Hamburg Steak (Hambagu) - a traditional Japanese dish. There are many questions surrounding the similarities and differences between these two dishes as they both originate from the same idea of minced meat, but their form, ingredients and culinary culture have been adapted and developed separately in each cuisine. Considered a favorite fast food of many people around the world , Hamburger is made from two halves of round bread, in the middle is a sandwich of minced meat that has been fried, grilled and greasy with some vegetables, tubers, cheese, butter and the accompanying dish is French fries.
Meanwhile, the Japanese have cleverly adapted the traditional Asian recipe of Hamburg Steak, minced premium Wagyu beef, grilled, drizzled with sauce, served with rice and a variety of vegetables of your choice, both flavorful and nutritious. When enjoying Japanese-style Hamburg Steak, the tender beef is marinated with rich sauces: Onion Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Demi Glace Sauce, bringing a fresh, unique flavor imbued with the traditional cuisine of the Land of the Rising Sun. Currently in Japan, Hamburg Steak is so popular that it often appears from everyday meals to luxury restaurants as a unique culinary culture.

Going back in history to learn about the origin of Hamburgers has caused a lot of controversy. There is a hypothesis that the origin of this dish is from Germany. But there is an opinion that the origin dates back thousands of years ago, the ancient Egyptians ate minced meatballs. Later, they were pressed into a flat form and stored by the Mongols under their saddles. In the 13th century, when they invaded Europe, they created a type of cake that could be eaten even while riding a horse, which was the Hamburger. By World War II (late 19th century - early 20th century), Hamburgers were imported from Europe to Asian countries, including Japan. And since 1970, this fast food has officially become popular in Japan under the name Hamburg Steak (Hambagu), with Japanese chefs creating a new recipe, cleverly changing it to suit Asian tastes and be more nutritious.
