Recently, the dish of “xe dia” (pipe intestines) has become the center of discussion on social networks. This dish is considered by many to be “more precious than gold” because it is both rare and delicious.

Amid this craze, Will Courageux - a French guy, owner of the TikTok channel Will in Vietnam (@willinvietnam) - posted a clip of himself eating and said this was the first time he tried the dish in Vietnam.

He also titled the video "Foreigners don't dare eat 2m of cigarette butt", making many people curious.

In the video, Will walks into a local offal restaurant and confidently orders a plate of offal served with a typical Vietnamese dipping sauce - shrimp paste. He demonstrates his proficiency in squeezing lemon, adding chili, and seasoning the shrimp paste like a local.

After preparing the dipping sauce, Will used chopsticks to pick up the intestines, dip them in shrimp paste, and leisurely enjoy them. He also served the dish with herbs and expressed his enjoyment while eating.

The foreign guy finished the whole plate of food. Not only that, he also humorously declared: "100% of foreigners cannot eat this dish". Many people commented that it is rare for a foreigner to be able to eat intestines and shrimp paste so naturally.

One person commented: "I'm Vietnamese and I can't eat shrimp paste like him." Another person also commented: "With such skill in holding chopsticks, Will is about to become Vietnamese."

However, what caught netizens' attention when watching Will's video was that the dish he ate was not pork offal but actually a plate of pig offal, including sausage, liver, small intestine...

Some people even left comments under the video, telling Will that the real pipe intestine is very rare and not available in every restaurant. Will's mistake made many people laugh. However, most of them said they appreciated Will's spirit of exploring Vietnamese cuisine .

This is not the first time Will has enjoyed typical Vietnamese dishes such as pork intestines or shrimp paste. During his years living and working in Vietnam, Will has tried many special dishes.

When enjoying pig brain in Vietnam, the French man introduced this as a dish that "foreigners do not dare to eat", but he was very satisfied when eating it and ate 2 bowls.

Another time, Will was quite hesitant when being introduced to the snail dish, but then he enjoyed it and rated it as "delicious". Not only that, Will has also tried the duck eggs, Nam Dinh tongue porridge and rice rolls. One of his favorite dishes is vermicelli with fermented shrimp paste.

Not long ago, when he had the opportunity to return to France, Will brought a loaf of Vietnamese bread and filmed a clip "Vietnamese bread traveling around France" to express his love for this dish. When asked about the taste of the bread, Will did not hesitate to share: "10 points for mixed bread".

Will once shared that he chose to work in Vietnam partly because he was attracted by the diverse culture and cuisine here. In particular, he felt that Vietnamese people are friendly, radiating positive energy that always makes him feel warm and comfortable.
